Effective Date: October 1, 2026 | Last Updated: October 9, 2026
THIS NOTICE DESCRIBES HOW MEDICAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU MAY BE USED AND DISCLOSED AND HOW YOU CAN GET ACCESS TO THIS INFORMATION. PLEASE REVIEW IT CAREFULLY.
MMONAJAH™ is a luxury cosmetic, dental, wellness, legal and professional network — a technology marketplace that connects members with independent, verified professionals: mobile aftercare providers, mobile nurses, lymphatic massage therapists, aestheticians, wellness and recovery specialists, therapists and counselors, dentists, doctors and surgeons, medical facilities and surgical centers, attorneys and legal professionals, and transportation providers.
MMONAJAH™ is not a healthcare provider, a healthcare facility or a health plan, and does not practice medicine, dentistry, therapy or law. The professionals on the network are independent, they are responsible for the care they provide, and each of them maintains their own privacy notice and professional records. This Notice describes how MMONAJAH™ handles health information on the platform.
Protected Health Information (PHI) is individually identifiable information relating to your past, present or future physical or mental health, the care provided to you, or payment for that care. On this platform it can include your name and contact details, dates of service, intake and medical history you share, medications and allergies, treatment goals, photographs you upload, insurance information, and details of a booking with a health professional.
We handle health information only to operate the platform for you and the professionals you choose:
• Coordinating care: to pass your intake information, booking details and documents to the professional you book, so they can prepare for and provide your service.
• Payment: to process payment for services booked through the platform.
• Platform operations: to verify professional credentials, maintain records, support safety and quality review, resolve disputes, and keep the platform secure.
• As required by law: where federal, state or local law requires disclosure.
Treating professionals remain responsible for the clinical records they keep and for their own notices of privacy practices. Where we handle health information on behalf of a professional, we do so under an agreement that limits its use to the services they have asked us to support.
• We do not sell health information.
• We do not use health information for advertising or marketing.
• We do not make clinical decisions, and no automated tool on the platform diagnoses, treats or replaces a professional's judgment.
• We do not share health information with other members, or with anyone who is not involved in your care, payment or platform operations.
You have the following rights with respect to health information we maintain:
• Right to Access: You may request a copy of the health information we maintain about you.
• Right to Amend: You may request corrections if you believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Right to an Accounting of Disclosures: You may request a list of certain disclosures we have made.
• Right to Restrict Disclosures: You may request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures.
• Right to Confidential Communications: You may request that we communicate with you about health matters in a specific way or at a specific location.
• Right to a Paper Copy of This Notice: You may request a paper copy at any time.
• Right to Complain: You may file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. You will not be retaliated against for filing a complaint.
MMONAJAH™ uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of health information: encryption in transit and at rest, private file storage for uploaded documents, role-based access controls so only the people who need a record can see it, and monitoring of access to sensitive records.
Documents and images you upload are stored privately and are not given public links. If a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.
We share health information only with service providers (business associates) who help us run the platform — for example secure hosting, payment processing, document storage, identity and credential verification, email delivery, and automated tools used to summarize intake information for the professional reviewing it. These providers are required by contract to protect the information and to use it only for the purpose it was shared.
We reserve the right to change this Notice of Privacy Practices, and to make the revised notice effective for health information we already have about you as well as any information we receive in the future. We will post the updated notice on this page with a new effective date and make it available on request.
If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with MMONAJAH™ at the contact below, or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. You will not be retaliated against for filing a complaint.
